There are certain items I would rather buy at a brick and mortar store. They price match amazon and walmart so you don't have to overpay. Large items like TVs are much easier to handle returns or warranty replacements with a local shop vs shipping back to an online store. Amazon has problems with counterfeit items making it into their inventory like memory cards and phone accessories. I have much higher confidence buying from Best Buy. Their rewards program saves me money here and there but I don't spend enough to reach the elite level often. Their Gamers Club Unlocked is well worth the money to upgrade from the free Gamers Club.
Don't really remember the white mans name but he has a lot of freckles and ginger hair. He's your most helpful employee I have ever met give that man a raise!
It's a good store, they have friendly service but many time they don't know the answers to questions you have. Many time you end up knowing more about technology and they have no clue what you are asking. Hopefully they will be training their employees more. It's a great store overall. Never crowded.
Helpful sales associates. Gabby is the best! She is helping us find just the right appliances we need to replace our current ones which we also bought at Best Buy many years ago.
I must share this experience. I went to Best Buy to purchase 2 apple watches. I used my debit card to pay for it and was then asked by a man named Daniel (bald headed white male) for my ID card. I asked why I needed to show my ID when I was paying using a debit card which requires a PIN number and has a chip. I can understand if I were paying credit but I'm not. I was then told that it was store policy to ask for ID if the customer spends over a certain amount of money. I then asked to see that policy..... and guess what...... it wasn't a store policy. I asked another cashier and she said we are not supposed to ask for ID unless the customer uses a credit card. (She was white), another cashier chimed in by writing the number to corporate for me to complain(also white) I am thankful that they saw an issue as well and understood my frustration. So I asked after showing my ID......am I being profiled? You see a young black girl with 3 black children, how can we possibly afford this right?! Yet being the observant person I am I just watched them sell an apple computer to another lady and didn't ask her for her ID........I've purchased 2 tablets a week ago from here and was also never asked because I used my debit card. Ive also recently purchased expensive beats headphones and was also not asked. I've never experienced anything like this since I've moved here so I considered myself pretty blessed until it happened today. I will not stop calling corporate until something changes! If I don't deal with it then my children will have to deal with it when they are old enough to be the customer. Change starts with me.....
