Stopped by for a late lunch while getting my vehicle smogged across the lot. I ordered four mini carne asada tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were a little different than your traditional "Tijuana" or "street" tacos in that they didn't have a guacamole sauce. The tacos had the typical cilantro and onion with a tomatillo salsa. They had a salsa bar with green sauce, two red sauces (mild and hot), and pico. The tacos were delicious, the rice and beans were rice and beans, and the hotter red sauce was hot, very good, but not stupid hot. Added bonus, they had bottled Coke in the traditional 12oz. Even though I'm not a big soda drinker, I like bottled Coke with Mexican food if beer isn't available. I just wish they had the medio litro bottles.
Love love love love love. We eat here every Friday like clock work. Food is very good and fresh. I am a bit of a taco shop snob, so when I find a good one I don't venture away. After a long week, a tasty dinner in a clean friendly restaurant is very refreshing.

New to the area so I searched for Mexican food near me. Decided to give Emma's a shot due to the 4.8 star reviews it had. I must have walked in to a different place. Watched my rice & beans get heated up in the microwave a bit too long (not to mention on styrofoam plate). The enchiladas were...eh. My son's nachos were stale and the nacho cheese was cold. My fiancée fish tacos were "okay". Overall it was below average and definitely not 4 star worthy.
We aren't the only regulars there's always a few of the same faces each time we are in there and I think that says a lot.
